LTL Linear Foot & Cubic Capacity Reference Sheet
Linear Foot rules detail the max. allowed total length of truck space and weight for an LTL shipment.
Cubic Capacity rules take into account the overall shipment density and space taken on a truck. This applies when a shipment takes up a certain amount of truck space AND is less than a certain density.
*Review both Linear Foot and Cubic Capacity rules for an LTL shipment to avoid extra charges*
(Pallet counts listed are based on standard pallet sizes (48”L x 40”W))
