Merging of Shipments

Introduction:

Shipment merging is meant to enable FreightWise clients a easy and quick way to combine shipments that are scheduled to depart from the same origin to the same destination on the same day. 

 

Step 1:

Select the shipments you would like to merge. A maximum of 5 is allowable.

Step 2:

Confirm the merging of the selected shipments.

Notes:

  • Shipment merging is not available to all types of shipments. In most cases this is a special type of shipment that lends itself to merging and re-manifesting.
  • Care should be taken when merging that you do not create a volume LTL quote that can be much more expensive to ship. In these cases please consult the FreightWise Customer Solutions Team for help and details.
